I'm Nel, a queer hobbyist who has a lot of thoughts and likes to try everything. Drawing, crafting, writing, sculpting, you name it, and I'll probably think it's cool.

So this blog is a place to record the trials and tribulations of trying new things, to either demostrate what not to do or to maybe show it's not so hard? It's also a space for longer form thoughts since the internet is a hellscape that wants to you package everything as short, easy commodities. Long live the small web.

My current fascinations at the moment include:

• ArtFight
• finally following through with making a zine
• making dolls of my original characters
• learning bookbinding??

At the moment, you can find my not so up-to-date body of work either on Instagram (AKA the devil site) and some things on itch. One of my planned projects is to make a gallery on my own site to migrate entirely away from Instagram. Wish me luck :'(
